about lisa
With nearly three decades of hands-on experience in event planning, I know how to convince the many important details to comes together just-so. My background includes over 11 years in hotels coordinating all types of events (but mostly weddings), 14 years planning and executing sophisticated and complicated events for a large law firm, and now more than 4 FANTASTIC years running my own business. The combination of roles I’ve played in the event field have provided me with a deep knowledge and a level of experience that greatly benefits my clients.

I’m also a Certified Meeting Professional (“CMP”), which is a globally recognized credential considered to be a "badge of excellence" in the industry. The qualifications for certification are based on years of experience, education, and a rigorous exam. (On-going experience and education is required to keep this certification.)

A little more:

-
My reviews: I have never paid for a review to be given or removed. All of my reviews are 100% authentic client reviews.
-
Quality over quantity! I only schedule one wedding a weekend so my attention does not get splintered between clients.
-
Ethics: I don’t accept commissions or kickbacks from any vendors that I recommend. Any discounts I get are passed along to my clients. My recommendations are not for personal gain, they’re all about my clients.
-
Professionalism: I never drink or participate as a guest during events. I am there to serve my clients and their guests, and am clear-headed and on-duty until I’ve landed back at home.
-
Personal: I’ve been married to a mouthy NY native for 27 years and we have two “kids” who attend local colleges and still live at home. We also have 2 doodles, Sicily and Ramona, and one nutzo cat. Mister Kitty is the smallest family member by far, but he’s definitely in charge around here.

I would love to talk with you to see if we're a good match to work together!

a lifelong love of events
My love for event planning started at a young age. I think I was seven the first time I decided to make a dinner gathering special. Menu cards: Check! A special table set up: Check, check! Entertainment: Yes, check! (The "entertainment" was my cousin and me singing and dancing original material in costume. Not good.)

I had no idea then that I was rehearsing for my future. Today I bring a little more experience than seven-year-old me had, but just as much enthusiasm. I will spring into action to help you pull your event together. (Also, I promise not to perform any original entertainment during your event . . .)
